In many cases these yo-yo tricks have many slight differences even
with the
same trick name. For contests, please make sure you know how to do the
offical version of that trick for that contest.
These videos were created by J- the originator of this
site, and for the World Yo-Yo
Contest. Most of these yoyo videos were used in years past for this
contest,
and we are working to make them more accessable to the public through this
site.

I decided to create Begin2Spin when I noticed
repeated calls on the various yo-yo web boards for explanations
of the simpler yo-yo tricks. As I looked around online for videos
to help demonstrate these tricks I found that most of them weren't
online or were in older, outdated formats. There are plenty of
sites with videos and descriptions of the more difficult or cutting
edge tricks. But resources for those just starting out were much
more limited. This site's mission is to fill this need for beginner
yo-yo trick videos.

Note that there are no loop, hop,
or moon style tricks listed. For information and guidelines for
those please see the excellent Shawn
Fumos's Guide To Looping.

on to more difficult tricks I suggest you visit Sector
Y for advanced videos and illustrations. |
